Fuel Water Separator Filter 500FG 500FH
Fuel Water Separator Filter 500FG 500FH
Cross Reference :500FG 500FH
The GREEN-FILTER 500FG Turbine Series is fuel water separator filter, which can protect the precise components of your engine from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltenes, varnish, and especially water, by removing contaminants from the fuel.During the separation process, when fuel enters the filter assembly, it passes through a centrifuge, which rotates to separate larger solids and water droplets, with the latter settling to the bottom of the collection bowl. In the coalescing process, small water droplets gather on the surface of the conical baffle and filter element. When the weight is sufficient, they also settle to the bottom of the bowl. During the filtration process, the proprietary filter element repels water and removes contaminants from the fuel.
Features
Component Composition
Bowl: Located at the bottom of the 500FG fuel water separator filter, used for observing the filtered water and impurities.
Filtering Element: 2010PM filtering element designed to effectively capture water and impurities in the fuel, specifically matched to the 500FG fuel water separator filter.
Valve: Installed at the top of the 500FG fuel water separator filter to ensure smooth fuel flow.
Head Assembly: Used to connect fuel input and output pipelines.
Housing: Made from corrosion-resistant materials, providing structural support and protection.
Installing the Filter
Fully remove any side filters on the fuel line between the fuel tank and the fuel pump. Keeping these filters will increase resistance in the fuel line. The cast filter head in the engine or non-removable or rigidly connected filters should be replaced with new filters and retained in position. Keep fuel flow resistance to a minimum. Always use the largest possible fuel hose. Do not make sharp bends in the flexible hose to avoid kinking. Avoid using two 45° elbows, as using one 90° elbow is more efficient. When routing hoses, avoid contact with moving parts, sharp edges, or hot surfaces.
